Schneider Electric welcomes Texas State Representative Julie Johnson (D-Farmers Branch) to discuss workforce development, workforce diversity and job training

CARROLLTON, Texas, November 17, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Schneider Electric, a global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, hosted the Texas State Representative today Julia Johnson (D-Farmer’s branch) in his office in Carollton, Texas. Rep. Johnson toured the recently renovated 70,000-square-foot office and training lab and was briefed on the company’s efforts to design, manufacture, expand its portfolio of electrical products – from circuit breakers for homes to microgrids that power communities install and maintain that enable its customers to achieve a cleaner and more sustainable future.

Schneider executives also updated Rep. Johnson on his commitment to continue investing in the company Dallas region, programs related to workforce development and workforce diversity, and support of local community efforts with organizations including the American Heart Association, Habitat for Humanity and Our Friends Place, among others.

It currently employs 328 people in Carollton, TX in engineering, sales, finance, services, marketing and human resources. In 2020, Schneider Electric made a contribution $318 million to the Texas Business.
