Huskies move up 9 spots in AP poll; Kick-off time set for Colorado

The University of Washington football team defeated Oregon in a thrilling Saturday night shootout in Eugene and was rewarded by moving up nine spots to 15th in the Associated Press poll, matching its previous high this season.

The Huskies finished 15th in their UCLA road game in late September, which they lost 40-32 in the Rose Bowl.

Yet, in demonstrating some of the ubiquitous oddities of voting through polls, the UW (8-2 overall, 5-2 Pac-12) still couldn’t overtake the Ducks (8-2, 6-1), No 6-12 after the 37:34 defeat in the Autzen Stadium.
