Colorado storms past Jackson State to score four points in double digits – BuffZone

Quay Miller started Saturday’s game looking like she was topping Monday’s career performance. But after Miller gave the Colorado women’s basketball team a strong start, Frida Formann and Aaronette Vonleh took over in the second half to lead the Buffaloes to a 77-53 win over Jackson State in preseason WNIT on Saturday.

CU (2-0) performed evenly throughout the line-up, with Formann scoring 15 of their 17-game strength in the second half. Miller and Vonleh each had 13, Jada Wynn had 10 points, and Jaylyn Sherrod finished with five assists.

The Buffs have 19 assists in each of their first two games and have kept their opponents on a 31.1% combined shot.
