Colorado State at Air Force odds, tips and predictions

That Colorado State Rams (2-8, 2-4 Mountain West) take a trip to visit the Luftwaffe Falcons (7-3, 3-3) Saturday. Kick-off from Falcon Stadium is scheduled for 9pm ET (FS2). Below we analyze the lines of Tipico Sportsbook around the State of Colorado vs Air Force opportunitiesand do our college football picks and predictions from the experts.

The Rams go into this game on a 3-game losing streak, with their most recent loss coming in a tough 14-13 game last Saturday against Wyoming. In this loss, the key stats weren’t as close as the result might suggest. The Rams won the yardage battle 372-236 and the first down battle 18-12 but lost the turnover battle 2-1.

The Falcons, on the other hand, come into this game on a 2-game winning streak, with their most recent win coming in a 35-3 blowout over the University of New Mexico last Saturday. With this performance, as always with the Falcons, it was the storming attack that won them the game. With a total of 428 rushing yards in just 42 passing yards, the rushing attack seemed unstoppable in this win.

Colorado State at Air Force Selections and Predictions

Air Force 42, State of Colorado 12

money line

The money line is far too risky for this game. Air Force should easily win this game, the money line here isn’t worth the reward. Anything can happen in college football, especially between conference teams who know each other very well. Air Force is by far the better team but their confidence in their running game can be used as a weakness, unfortunately for Colorado State they don’t have the resources to stop it.

against the spread

LEAN AIR FORCE -21.5 (-112)

Air Force is just too good to allow close play. Their offense and defense are both better than Colorado State’s. Air Force and Colorado State have both competed in games that shouldn’t have been close, but this wasn’t supposed to be one of them. While the Air Force and the state of Colorado are both part of the same conference, they are not the same team.

over under

BET OVER 42.5 (-108)

Colorado State just won’t be able to stop the Air Force’s dominant running game. The Air Force alone should be able to cover the over, and if Colorado State’s one-touchdown offense can help, then the over should be very safe. Colorado State has only scored over 17 points once this season and I have no reason to believe they will do so again this game.
